The challenge will take place in the Picnic Pavilion area between the 5th and 7th innings of the game. For $15, fans will receive a reserved box seat to Thursday’s game, a ticket to one of the ValleyCats 2014 playoff games, and a $5 donation to the ALS Regional Center at St. Peter's Hospital.

After ValleyCats staff members and mascot, SouthPaw completed the challenge and shared videos with the public on social media, they now open the challenge up to fans who attend Wednesday’s game to help raise awareness for ALS. Several fans will be chosen to complete the challenge out of the ValleyCats 2013 New York-Penn League trophy.

Fans are also encouraged to share their past Ice Bucket Challenge videos with the ValleyCats on social media to receive a discounted ticket to Wednesday’s game. For more information on the Ice Bucket Challenge event at “The Joe,” visit
