Troy Police get the breaks they need.  Three people have been arrested in two separate cases.

Daniel Reuter and Jacob Heimroth are facing murder charges in the August 20th beating deaths of Allen and Maria Lockrow.  Jeffrey Brown of Cohoes has been charged with shooting Robert Rivera in late June.

Police Chief John Tedesco isn't giving a lot of details at this point because the investigation is ongoing but he admits the department has been taking a lot of heat.  Mayor Lou Rosamilia says the focus has to remain on the unsolved cases.

Tedesco has said he was 100% confident his officers would solve all 8 homicides in the city this year.  These arrests bring to five the number of cases in which an arrest has been made.

Tedesco says extra patrols will remain on the city's streets, at least for now.
