Billboard Hot 100 Fest: Major Lazer, Camila Cabello & More Day 2 Highlights

For its second day of festivity, the 2017 Billboard Hot 100 Festival brought the Northwell Health Theater concert-goers at Jones Beach to their feet with a star-studded line-up. In fact, it was almost hard to choose between conflicting sets for the sold-out event. After a kickoff day with servings from Big Sean, Demi Lovato and more, Sunday (August 20) brought another jam-packed experience to the 15,000 fans in attendance of the outdoor amphitheater.

Among the performers that blazed the theater included Major Lazer, Camila Cabello, DJ Khaled, Lil Yachty and many more. iHeartRadio was on location for all the action and rounded up some of the most memorable moments from the scorching Sunday affair. Take a look below!

Major Lazer Closes The Show With Pyro, J Balvin & More

Headlining a venture like Billboard's Hot 100 Festival comes with a certain responsibility, but Major Lazer made sure to do all that they needed to do to serve the heat – literally. Showcasing their diverse taste for hip-hop, dancehall and EDM, the trio served the audience with plenty of pyro throughout performances of Gucci Mane and Drake's "Both," the drum-heavy rendition of Enur's "Calibria," and even some material from their "Pon de Floor" era.

Diplo was also spotting tossing swag into the audience, but that was just the first taste of gifts to the fans. Towards the second half of their set, the group surprised the crowd with a sizzling performance of "Know No Better" with Camila Cabello. But for the finale, J Balvin brought the rowdy audience to new heights when he performed his Major Lazer collab "Buscando Huellas" as well as his own hit, "Mi Gente."

DJ Khaled Surprises The Crowd With Fat Joe & Son Asahd

You'd think that being 30 minutes late would create some frustration for fans, especially at a festival, but that wasn't the case with DJ Khaled as noted by the chaos surrounding his entrance onto the stage. As with most Khaled shows, the essence of the hip-hop heavyweight appeared to take over audience. Things got even more wild when Fat Joe, who was celebrating his 47th birthday, surprised the Hot 100 stage crowd. As you might have expected, Joey Crack's appearance arrived with plenty of hits like "All The Way Up," "What's Luv" and "Lean Back." Fill that in with snippets of Khaled-produced cuts like JAY-Z and Beyoncé's "Shining" and the Justin Bieber-led "I'm The One," an appearance by his son Asahd and, of course, plenty of Khaledisms, and you have yourself a sizzling set.

Camila Cabello Performs Her First Festival Set

For her very first music festival set, Camila Cabello performed to top notch standards. With a string of backup dancers, the former Fifth Harmony bandmate offered up a solid 35-minute set, which included her new solo tunes like "OMG," "Havana," MGK's "Bad Things" and even the debut performance of her ballad "I Have Questions." "This is my first time performing this live, it has so much weight to me," Cabello told the audience via Billboard. "It's about someone I thought would be in my life forever. . . .but then you wake up from that dream." Also, let's also talk about Camila busting out an electric guitar for her last song, "I'll Never Be the Same." One word: Rockstar.

Lil Yachty Turns Ups With A$AP Ferg

Never forget: Lil Yachty knows how to party and he has a plenty of friends to help him do so. During his high-energy set, Yachty brought the goods and instructed his crowd to form a mosh pit because that's exactly what you do at a Lil Boat set. You dance. You jump. You sing. It was full-on party mode, especially when Yachty brought out A$AP Ferg for "Work," "New Level" and "Minnesota." Oh, and don't forget about the other string of hits like Kyle's "iSpy" and "22."

Marshmello Brings The Ear And Eye Candy

Marshmello knows his audience well, so it's no surprise that the jam-packed theater was full of chants and jumps during his Sunday night set. Not only did he offer up plenty of pyro, but the set included songs like Kayzo's "Whistle Wars" and, of course, his own material like "Twinbow," "Summer" and his recent collaboration with Khalid called "Silence." Sure, a remix to Adele's "Hello" might have seemed off-putting, especially deep into his set, but his energetic backdrop made up for the hiccup. It's not like you could expect anything different from a man who wears a an oversized white marshmallow headpiece.

Le Youth Breezes Through The Festival Chaos

Herbal Essences Beach Stage may have been the stage furthest removed from the festivity, but Le Youth's pulsating set drew a devoted crowd of dancers on Sunday afternoon. From his own original cuts like new single, "Clap Your Hands," to Jax Jones' recent smash, "You Don't Know Me" and old school classics from Michael Jackson and R. Kelly, the bass-heavy performance momentarily brought festival-goers away from the vendor frantic chaos of the actual Northwell Health Theater and towards the the neighboring water view for a full-fledged dance party. Plus, who doesn't love a nice breeze during a steamy August day?
