We adopted our sweet boy Leo in the Fall of 2008. He was an adorable playful little guy and we fell in love with him, and thankfully he fell in love with us too. Over the years, we had more joy than anyone could ever hope for from a best friend. We knew Leo's time was coming, but that doesn't make any of this any easier. Leo was a member of our family. And he meant the world to us. During Covid, when I would do our backyard Facebook lives almost every day, you came to know Leo too. He was the star of those backyard meetings. So I know you cared about him too. On Friday, Leo let us know it was time, and the vet came to our home, and with him in our arms, he crossed over. I know he'll be waiting for us on the other side, but that didn't make saying goodbye any easier. We have wonderful memories, and soon those will outshine the sadness, but for now, our hearts are broken. Check out photos of our little Pubba Bear below.
