You know every year I attend a very important event in the Well of the Legislative Office Building in Albany. It's New York State Animal Advocacy Day, where we get to tell the legislators how important animal protection and rights are in this State.  Sadly we have heard too many stories of animal abuse, and those stories continue.  That's why we need our legislators, the people that WE elected, to pass laws that will protect our animals, our pups, cats, horses, etc.  The more people we have in Albany on June 6th, the better chance there is to make sure those laws are passed and we'll hear less stories of bad things being done to animals.  Let's face it, animals give us unconditional love.  It's time we protected them.  I'll be there Tuesday, June 6th, and I hope you'll join me there as well!  Please make the time.  It's very important!!
