A Facts of Life reboot is in early stages of development at Sony Pictures TV! I first read in Deadline, that Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, Appian Way, and Jessica Biel's production company, Iron Ocean Films are negotiating to produce the project. We all know Facts of Life that was a huge hit and ran for nine seasons on NBC in the 80's. It starred Charlotte Rae as Mrs. Garrett, the headmistress at a school for girls who takes in four girls after they get in trouble. We had Blair, Joe, Tootie and Natalie and we followed their lives for nine years. No word on who would be cast in the show, but it would be fun to have Facts of Life back on TV. What do you think of this reboot?
**Update** Sadly, Charlotte Rae, who played Mrs. Garrett on the Facts of Life passed away at her home yesterday after a battle with bone cancer. She was 92.
