  • Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is planning to commemorate 50th Anniversary of Woodstock this summer with “A Season of Song & Celebration,” featuring a trio of concerts and other events during the anniversary weekend. The anniversary weekend will kick off August 15th with a screening of the award-winning documentary “Woodstock: the Director's Cut,” followed by an August 16th concert featuring Ringo Starr and his All Star Band, as well as original Woodstock performers Arlo Guthrie and Edgar Winter, who’ll return to Bethel withThe Edgar Winter Band. Then August 17thwill see the return of Woodstock legend Santana, with special guests The Doobie Brothers, while the performer for August 18this yet to be announced. This event is a bit scaled back from the site’s original plans. We also know there is going to be a big three day concert being held at Watkins Glen August 16, 17 and 18, but no performers have been announced yet for that event. We'll keep you updated when we get more information. Would you head to either Bethel Woods or Watkins Glen to celebrate Woodstock's 50th?? I'll watch on TV, what about you?
