Sadly, we must say goodbye for good to President Kirkman. Netflix has cancelled Designated Survivor after producing just one season of the show. You probably recall that ABC had the show for two seasons and then cancelled it. Netflix picked up the show for a third season, and fans (like myself) were thrilled to know we were going to be able to see more of the unlikely President's story. But now, Netflix has cancelled the show. They did praise Kiefer and the cast, but said it just wasn't cost effective for them to continue.
