The Crawleys are coming back. Yesterday it was announced that production has started on Downton Abbey 2, the sequel to the first Downton film from 2019! The entire original cast will be back for the new movie, and yes that includes Maggie Smith! You might recall there was a storyline in the first Downton film that put Maggie Smith's return in question. Along with the cast, other stars will be in for the new movie including Hugh Dancy, Dominic West and more. As you can see from the Twitter post below, the movie will be out at Christmas! I don't know about you, but Downton Abbey is comfort viewing for me. So I'll be glad to see the gang back together again for another movie. What about you?
