Another HBO TV Show Is Filming In The Area This Week!

The Capital Region is really becoming Hollywood on the Hudson. For the past month, The HBO series, The Guilded Age was being filmed in Troy, making it double for NYC in the 1880's. It looked amazing. They wrapped up filming on Thursday, but they'll be back in October.

And now, for the next couple of days, the HBO series, The White House Plumbers, which is about the Watergate scandal, will be filming in Albany. The shoot will take place Tuesday and Wednesday in Academy Park across from the State Capitol, and streets in downtown near the Bus Station. The show stars Woody Harrelson, Justin Theroux, Domhnall Gleesoin and Kathleen Turner. No word on whether or not they'll be in town for the filming. It's all pretty exciting, but it does lead to some road closures, so just be prepared. Below is the list of roads that will be affected by the shooting over the next couple of days!
