These Are Growing In My Yard! Are They Blackberries??

Okay, so these are growing in my backyard. They look exactly like the berries we used to pick when we were kids over in North Greenbush. Our house was up against some woods, and we would "explore" and there were tons of these bushes back there. We always ate the berries and we survived. Are they blackberries? Are they still safe to eat? I was so excited when I saw them because it felt like a piece of my childhood followed me over to East Greenbush. Do you have these growing wild anywhere near your home?
