S Dilemma-Should A Stranger Have Taken A Child's Hat Off For the Anthem?

Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Brady. It's about how to handle other people's children. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. My daughter and I enjoy the ValleyCat games and went this past weekend. When it came time for the national anthem everyone stood, removed their hats (after being told by the announcer to remove your hats) and most placed their hand over their hearts. Three rows in front of me a little boy around 7 or 8 didn't remove his hat so a man behind him removed it for him. The mom turned around and said "That's not your place!" Keep your hands off my kid!" Of course the guy said... "Then teach your kids some respect for the national anthem!" Then the mom said "AGAIN, NOT YOUR PLACE!" I don't think it was so bad for the man to take the child's hat off, but the mom got so angry. I thought I'd ask what other people thought. Thanks Jaime ~ Brady, I agree the boy should have taken off his hat, but someone else taking it off his head, I don't think I would have been okay with that as a parent. But I also would have made sure my child had his hat off. What do you think? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page
