DC Comics Changes Superman's Motto...Truth Justice and A Better Tomorrow!

Superman used to fight for "truth, justice and the American way." Now he's fighting for "truth, justice and a better tomorrow." Over the weekend, DC Comics officially announced the motto change to an updated version that includes the whole world and not just America. According to DC, "Superman has long been a symbol of hope who inspires people from around the world, and it is that optimism and hope that powers him forward with this new mission statement.” The new motto will not just be in the comics, but in every way we see Superman and that includes TV, movies, video games and more. It's important to note that Superman's motto of "truth, justice and the American Way" did NOT come from DC Comics but from the Adventures of Superman radio series during WWII. It was dropped in 1944, but then some picked it back up again. So now that motto is gone and the new one is "truth, justice and a better tomorrow." I like them both, and if the second one allows kids around the world to feel included, then that's okay by my. What do you think?
