Today's Pick Me Up reminds us all that the good stuff can happen to you! Daniel Foster of Watervliet decided to pick up a Scratch Off one day...specifically the Strike It Rich scratchoff. He bought it at Cumbys on Troy Schenectady Road in Latham! Well, when he got around to scratching off the ticket, he couldn't believe what he saw! Daniel had won the one million dollar top prize for the game!!! Ultimately he ended up taking home about $600,000 after the required holdings according to the NYS Lottery and our friends at News 10 ABC. So when you buy that next scratch off, remember Daniel, and know that it COULD happen to you!!!
