This should be a great Alive at Five tonight! Rock superstar Lita Ford, who had two big hits back in the day with Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever will be playing tonight for Alive at Five with our sister station PYX 106. The show kicks off at 5 and goes until 8. It should be a lot of fun! As of right now, the show will still be at Jennings Landing, but if anything changes due to rain, we'll let you know.
Also, this weekend there are two big music festivals going on in the area. First up, it's the Freihofer's Jazz Festival at SPAC, both Saturday and Sunday. And also both days of the weekend at the Altamont Fairgrounds, it's the Old Songs Festival. So depending on what kind of music you like, there's something for everyone! Enjoy!
Oh and if you don't want to go to a concert, but you still want to hear great music, don't forget the movie ELVIS opens later this evening in theaters. I'm going to see it tomorrow. What about you?
