Well this didn't last long: CBS un-canceled "SWAT" two days after announcing it was done. It's been renewed for a seventh and FINAL season of 13 episodes. Shemar Moore is now very happy and said, quote, "Ayyeee!!!!! We did it #SWATFAM!!! Thank you to all of you for the continued and amazing support!! Let's go." A CBS executive said they changed their minds after listening to their viewers and their "outpouring of passion" for "SWAT". So that's good news for SWAT fans.
However now for the bad news.....for fans of True Lies and East New York...both shows have been cancelled by CBS. They each only ran for one season, and CBS said the ratings were just not good enough to continue. So SWAT is back, but say goodbye to East New York and True Lies. Will you miss those shows? Are you happy about SWAT?
