Social Dilemma: My Wife's Boss Wants To Share A Room W/Her on Business Trip

Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Clint and it's about a work situation with his wife. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. Help me out with this. My wife has been asked to go on a business trip with her boss, but the hotel arrangements are something I have a major issue with. The way I understand it, there are eight people that are going on the trip, but in order to save money, everyone has to share a room with someone else. My wife is the only female in the group, so to make sure everything is “appropriate,” he’s insisting that she share a room with him. Is this even legal? She’s wildly uncomfortable with this, and I’m right there with her. How can she handle this and not have it affect her standing with her job? Please let me know how you would handle this. Thanks\ ~ Clint. Well this is wildly inappropriate and she should absolutely say no way. I can't believe someone would even suggest this. I guess I would go to HR if there is one in the company or tell them you can't go on the trip unless you have your own room. Period. What do you think?
