Social Dilemma: Would You Have Let This Man Inside Your Home?

Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma is about what to do when someone knocks on your door. Here's the email: Hi Jaime I wanted to share something that happened this weekend and get your thoughts. On Saturday, a man in his 50s knocked on my door, saying my house was his childhood home. He asked if he could come in to look around and see his old bedroom. While he seemed polite, I didn’t feel comfortable letting a stranger in, especially since my husband wasn’t home. And he's away visiting his mother and won't be home until next weekend. The man left his number and said he’d be around all week if I changed my mind. Should I call him back, or was I right to say no? Thanks for the help ~ Gina I think Gina did the right thing. My instinct would be to let him in, but not when you're home alone. Truth is we don't know who he is. What I would do is ask a friend or neighbor to come over and then perhaps call him back and let him know he could stop in for a quick five minutes. What would you do? Maybe I'm overthinking it. Let's help Gina out and let me know what you think on the TRY Facebook page.
