The Made In America Festival in Philly went down on Labor Day weekend and everyone who hit the stage shut it down. But, nobody did that like the hip hop vet who closed the entire fest, JAY-Z.
The rapper took to the stage and performed a number of his classic hits from albums like 4:44, The Dynasty: Roc La Familia, Magna Carta Holy Grail, The Black Album and The Blueprint 3. Thousands of his fans watched in awe, as Hov blessed them with his electrifying set in the "City of Brotherly Love."
JAY also didn't forget to wish his wife, Beyoncé, a happy birthday while performing. “Beautiful Bey is in the house tonight. Happy birthday my love,” JAY shouted from the stage. But, that wasn't the only stand-out moment of the performance. JAY also brought out Meek Mill and Damian Marley to the stage. Then, things got crazy!
When Mill walked out, he rapped his Dreams & Nightmares introduction record for the crowd in his hometown. The Philly MC also invited Just Blaze and Young Guru to DJ. After that, Marley collaborated with JAY on their joint smash "Bam."
JAY didn't leave the stage without remembering Linkin Park's late singer, Chester Bennington. He rapped his collab with the group, “Numb/Encore,” as a tribute to the fallen artist. See some snippets of JAY's MIA Fest performance below.
