Social Dilemma - Did You Wash Your Car on the 1st Nice Day After Snow/ice?

Today's social dilemma came from a discussion I had with a friend on Saturday, who I gave a ride to up to our Winterfest.  Anyway, let me explain.  On our way up to West Mountain I wanted to stop and get my car washed.  It was the first nice day we had had in a while and I wanted to wash the salt off the car.  She said there's no point, it's going to rain and snow again on Sunday night, so just leave it alone.   Anyway, we get to the car wash and there is a long line because clearly everyone was thinking like I was.  Well, this made her crazy.  She did not want to wait in line to get the car wash.   She felt like everyone was wasting their money.  I said we weren't in any hurry and we could just chat while we wait.  It still made her crazy. She said she has this argument with people all the time.   She felt that unless you  knew there was going to be a week of good weather, it's a waste of time and money to wash the car.  I say it's good to get the salt off it every now and then even if it is going to get dirty again.   So I bring it to you, though I'm not sure she'll be swayed, but she did promise to listen.  So what do you think?  Do you get the car washed on the first nice day we have after snowy/icy weather, or do you wait until winter is over before washing.  I'm so curious to hear what the consensus is on this.    Let me know on the 98-3 TRY facebook page!
