Okay, I was going to do a different social dilemma today, but this came up yesterday after having an in depth conversation with my niece. Apparently there is a debate raging on Twitter about a very important issue, and my niece was very invested in it. Here's the issue at hand. Does a straw have one hole or two? Yep, that's our dilemma today. I said that I believed a straw has one hole....one big long hole that goes through the straw. She was adamant that there are two holes in the straw, one at the top and one at the bottom. I say it's one hole because you know, you don't say a donut has two holes in it, it's just one hole and it's the same premise with the straw...one long hole. I do now understand why this was burning up Twitter yesterday. So I'll pass it along to you. Does a straw have one one hole in it or two? Let's get to the bottom of this burning dilemma.
