Dilemma - Is It Okay to Flash Your Lights at Someone in the Left Lane?

Interesting email I received from Michelle. I think we've probably all found ourselves in this situation at one time or another, so let's see where you fall on this.  Hi Jaime.   I have a dilemma for you.  When you're driving on a highway and you're in the left lane, and someone comes up behind you and flashes their high beams at you, what do you do.  I think it's incredibly rude so I purposely slow down.  It drives me crazy so I'm wondering what you think and what you do.  I think this would be a good Social Dilemma.  Thanks Jaime.  Love listening to you!   Michelle

Well, I've been on both sides of this.  I admit, that I have flashed my high beams at people in the left lane to gently ask them to move to the slower lane.  The left lane is supposed to be for passing so when someone is in that lane going slow, it makes me a little crazy.  I'm never doing it to be mean, just a little nudge to move over please.   On the other hand, I've been in the left lane passing someone and have had someone come up behind me and flash their lights.  So as soon as I've passed whoever I'm passing I'll go over the middle lane or right lane to get out of the way.  I look forward to hearing what you think.   Do you ever flash someone to ask them to move over?  Do you get upset when someone flashes you?  What do you think.  Let me know on the 98-3 TRY Facebook Page
