Yesterday the New York Yankees were set to have their home opener in the Bronx. A busload of folks from the Capital District even went down to see the big game. Unfortunately before they got there, they found out that the game had been postponed due to snow! Yep, while we barely got a dusting yesterday, the Bronx picked up about five inches of snow thus leaving the stadium in less than perfect condition for a game. The good news. The crews have been working non-stop and the opening game is set to go off at 4pm today. The bad news, rain is expected in the Bronx this morning, but hopefully it will have moved out by gametime! Here's hoping we get to see the Yankees do their thing this afternoon!
