RPI Cross Country Team LOVES Chick Fil-A; Buys Plane Ticket to Get It!

This story filled my heart with such joy! The Cross Country team at RPI loves Chick Fil-A so much that they actually pooled their money to buy a plane ticket so they could get in and buy some Chick Fil-A sandwiches for the team! Here's what happened. The runners had a break from track meets and they wanted Chick Fil-A. It's really that simple. But instead of driving an hour and fifteen minutes to Chicopee, Massachusetts (the closest free-standing Chick Fil-A), they pooled their money and bought a plane ticket for $98 (it was a one way ticket to Florida), so one of them could get into the airport and past security to buy Chick Fil-A for the entire team! Vincent Putrino, who is a a college senior at RPI and the captain of the cross country/track and field teams, was the chosen team member to go get that food. He He bought enough food for himself and the 18 other members of his team. He bought the infamous chicken sandwiches, along with chicken nuggets, french fries, cookies and lemonade. The team says it was well worth the money. I couldn't agree more! I would do that too, especially if I had 18 people to share the cost with. What about you? What food would you be willing to buy a plane ticket to get? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
