Prince Harry Wants to Be Known Only as Harry Now

Prince Harry doesn't want to be known as "Prince" anymore. He is reintroducing himself to the public as he and Meghan Markle start their new life and lose "Royal" titles. Yesterday, Harry made his first appearance in the United Kingdom since moving to Canada – but not as “Prince Harry.” just “Harry.” Harry traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland to speak at an eco-tourism summit on behalf of his global travel conservation initiative, Travalyst. The event’s host,Ayesha Hazarika, says that he “made it clear” that everyone should “just call him Harry.” It looks like the word is spreading, too. Later this week, Harry is scheduled to meet rock star Jon Bon Jovi at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios. The same day Harry dropped his “Prince” at the event,” Bon Jovi jokingly called him “the artist formerly known as Prince” during a radio interview. I like it. He said he wanted to step back a bit from Royal life and that's exactly what he's doing. He also knows that "royal" title makes people treat him differently and he doesn't want that, so I applaud him for it. There's nothing wrong with being a royal, but there's nothing wrong with wanted to step back from that either. I echo BonJovi, I like the "artist formerly known as Prince" but I would change it to the "royal formerly known as Prince." I say good for him. What do you think.
