Good news for all of us who love watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune! Both shows are set to resume production sometime this or next week! Don't get me wrong, I've loved watching all the old episodes of Jeopardy. It's been fun, but I'm ready for some new ones. What about you? Here's how it's going to work. There will be changes on both sets to keep everyone safe. On Wheel of Fortune, the wheel has been completely redesigned to provide for proper social distancing between the contestants and Pat. Vanna of course, is always safely socially distanced at the board. On Jeopardy, the stage has been tweaked to also allow more space between contestant podiums (they won't be right next to each other as before). And of course, the contestants will be at a safe distance from host Alex Trebek at his podium. Only essential crew members will be in the studio, and they'll have Personal Protective Equipment for everyone behind the scenes. And all staff and contestants will be tested on a regular basis. We'll keep you updated on how filming is going once it starts, but I'm excited and nervous about this. As long as everyone can stay safe, I'm behind it, but I certainly don't want anything happening to anyone, especially Alex who is still battling cancer.
