Earth, Wind & Fire brought their biggest hits to life during a special concert ahead of their upcoming residency in Las Vegas.

On Wednesday night, October 2, the iconic band returned to the Kia Forum in Los Angeles for "iHeartRadio Live." Verdine White, Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson and the crew kicked things off with their historic hit "September." Some people believe September 21 has a special meaning to EWF. In their eyes, it was just a date that sounded good with the lyrics. However, they acknowledge that the song has numerous meanings thanks to their fans.

"The good thing about it is it means something different for everyone and they can make it their own," the band told Valentine backstage.

The show continued with other classics like "Let's Groove," "Shining Star" and "After The Love Is Gone." They closed out their show with "Boogie Wonderland." In between each song, the group gave fans a preview of what to expect from their upcoming residency at The Venetian in Las Vegas. It will be the band's fifth time hosting a residency following their previous shows in 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Philip Bailey will direct the 90-minute show, and he guarantees the crowd will love every minute of it.

"If we hit our marks, as they say on Broadway, we're going to get great reactions every single night," Bailey said.

Earth, Wind & Fire's residency at The Venetian begins October 9 and will run until October 19. Make sure to buy your tickets now and check out more scenes from "iHeartRadio Live" below.
