Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Matt and it's about Halloween decorations. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. I have a Halloween dilemma. My neighbor has one very scary Halloween decoration of ghostly children with red eyes in their window. My kids are terrified to leave our house for bike rides, walks, and waiting for the bus going to school. I wrote up a card explaining who I am, where I live, the fear it's causing in my children (ages 8 and 4). I asked in the card if they would consider removing the decoration this year. I haven't given it to them yet. They just moved in a few weeks ago and we haven't seen them outside at all. Would it be out of line to place the card on their doorstep? I understand this may not be considered, but I also want to know if it would be rude to ask this. Thanks for the help. ~ Matt. I guess it's always okay to ask as long as you're okay if the answer is no. In that case, I would take some time trying to show the kids that the decorations are not real and are fun. Maybe take them to a store to see. That's my take. What do you think? Let's help Matt out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
