Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Ron and it's about buying a new home. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. Here's a dilemma. I get the keys to my new house this Friday, but the have sellers asked if they could have a few more days to move out. I said no, but now some people are making me feel like I was cruel or unkind for not giving them the extra time. I wasn't expecting this reaction from family and friends, but some have said "what's an extra couple of days" and "why can't you be gracious?" but I feel like it's my home and they had plenty of time to get out. Also, as of Friday, the house is legally mine so if anything happened to them after that, it would be my responsibility. Would you have let them stay or do you think I did the right thing? Thanks for the help ~ Ron. I think if it was me, I would have had the lawyer draw up something saying they were responsible for anything that happened between Friday and the next few days when they left and then let them stay.
