Cher was less than enthused with Jimmy Kimmel's comments following the release of the first half of her highly-anticipated memoir, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, during a recent guest appearance on his show.
The beloved "Believe" songstress explained that she planned to release the remainder of the project this November, to which Kimmel expressed doubt.
"The second part of your book, have you finished that yet?" he questioned. Cher revealed that she hadn't even started writing it yet, but assured that it would be out late 2025. Kimmel responded by saying:
"So it’s not coming out in November," an answer that the "After All" artist was not pleased with. Despite "icy" looks from Cher (per The Daily Mail) the talk show host continued to press, asking her if she meant November of this year or next.
Later on in the interview, Kimmel asked Cher if she could "turn back time," (referencing one of her most iconic hits) what year would she go back to? Cher, fed up with the interview at this point, shut the question down, remarking, "this is so dumb," before sharing that she really couldn't decide on a year.
