Wow, it was 30 years ago today that we first saw Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey teaching us all how to "dirty dance!" The movie came out on this day in 1987! It wasn't expected to be a big hit, but that's exactly what it was! We all fell in love with Patrick Swayze! We all could relate to Jennifer Grey's Baby, and with us living so close to the Catskills, that made it even more fun for us here in the Capital District! I can remember going back to see the movie at least three times in those first few weeks. We all bought the soundtrack and wished that someone like Patrick Swayze would do that amazing lift with us in the water. Well, in honor of the 30th anniversary, the TV network FreeForm will be showing the movie nonstop all day today! I know at some point I'll be flipping it on and watching parts of it. It's one of those movies that when I'm going through everything on TV, if I see it, I have to stop and watch! I'll be doing that today in honor of the anniversary! What about you?
