Some Great New Netflix Shows To Binge!

Last week, after I had my shoulder surgery, I had time to basically sit in front of the TV and binge watch some stuff.  This is what recuperation looks like these days.  Don't get me wrong, I did my physical therapy, and I tried to take a walk each day, but overwhelmingly, I watched TV, more specifically, Netflix.  And I caught some pretty good shows on there too that I wanted to share with you, so here goes!

First up, Friends from College.  It stars a lot of people that we love from other shows.  Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother, Fred Savage from The Wonder Years and The Grinder, Keegan Michael Key from Key and Peele, Annie Parisse from Law and Order and more.  It's about some pretty self absorbed college friends who are reunited in NYC years after graduation.   I give it about a seven on a scale of one to ten.  It's already been renewed for season two on Netflix so give it a shot

Then there's Atypical.  It's about a high school boy who has autism.  It's such a great comedy/drama that shows all aspects of how his autism affects not only him, but those around him as well.  I really loved this show and I hope it gets picked up for another season.  Check it out.

If you're looking for some serious crime drama, watch Ozark starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.  It's pretty violent and graphic, but it's really good if you like that kind of show.  They two of them end up moving to the Ozarks with their two children to work for a crime boss selling drugs.  Like I said, graphic and intense, but so good.

And lastly, if you love Marvel as much as I do, then you'll love The Defenders.  The Defenders are like a low rent Avengers.   There are four of them and they all have their own special super powers and the show is put together really well as good battles evil.  Definitely worth checking out!

I'd love to hear your picks for binge shows.  I still have a lot of recuperating to do so any help you can give me would be great!   Thanks!!
