Okay our social dilemma today comes from Charlie. Charlie is upset with his wife and is looking for our help. This is his email
Hi Jaime. My wife Carla and I listen to your social dilemma every morning. It always spurs good discussions and sometimes arguments between us. The other day, something happened that happens ALL the time for us, and I thought, let's see what Jaime and her gang think about this. My wife and I argue about it all the time. And it's simple. When my wife goes grocery shopping, no matter how many bags she has, she'll try to carry all of them into the house at one time. Our house sits up so we have about 12 steps up to our front door, and they're fairly steep steps. She's fallen from time to time, and one time even sprained her ankle, but still will do it, carrying all the bags at one. I take several trips if necessary back and forth to the car. I don't want Carly to hurt herself but I can't get her to stop getting all the groceries in one trip. So what do you do? Do you try to carry all your stuff into the house in one trip, or do you make several trips. Please help us out because I love my wife and don't want her hurt. Thanks so much jaime - Charlie
So sweet that Charlie doesn't want his wife to hurt herself. For me, though, I carry all the groceries at once if I can. I don't know what it is about having to make a second trip, but I just don't want to have to do it, so I try desperately to go with all of them. What about you? Do you make one or two trips?
