Today's social dilemma actually comes from me. Because this happened to me yesterday and I was going nuts, and I just thought, how do I make it stop? So here's the deal. I was getting my hair cut yesterday. The woman that cut it talked non stop throughout my wash, the haircut and the blowout. She truly went from one thought to another without hesitation. All I said was yeah, uh huh, cool, and wow and she took over the rest of the conversation. It was almost an SNL skit. And all I wanted to do was nod off and fall asleep. I really like how she cuts my hair, and I don't want to be rude, but please tell me how I can tell her that I just want to sit quietly while she cuts my hair. And is that rude? What do you do when you get your hair cut? HELP! I do love how she does my hair, but I don't want to have to hear non stop talking while getting it done. What would you do?
