Well, we're about three weeks into the new Fall season and already there are some certified hits, and some shows that seem to be missing the mark. Entertainment Weekly came up with a list of the hits and the shows that aren't performing as well as their networks would like.
On the hits side, it's Will & Grace, The Good Doctor, Young Sheldon, The Gifted, The Orville, Seal Team and Star Trek Discovery (even though thats only available on CBS streaming).
The possible misses include Marvel's Inhumans and Ten Days in the Valley. It's a safe bet that they won't be around for very long. Other shows that have gotten good reviews but aren't making the dent they need to in the ratings are The Mayor and Kevin Probably Saves the World. Those two shows have a chance at life since the reviews were good, and ABC is hoping that with word of mouth and some promotion, the shows will do better. One that's also hanging in the balance is Wisdom of the Crowd on Sunday nights. I still can't decide if I like that show or not, so I understand why the rest of American isn't sure.
What are you favorites from the new Fall season? And which shows have you already turned off? Let me know! I love The Good Doctor, The Gifted, Kevin Probably Saves the World, and the new Law & Order True Crime. What about you?
