Okay, I know that it's January 2nd, and yes, Christmas is over. (Well, officially we're still in the 12 days of Christmas...this is Day 8) I spent some time over the weekend with neighbors who told me that they will stop lighting their outside lights as of today. Now, of course, it's too cold to get out there and take them down, but they said, they won't light them because Christmas is over, and they think it looks silly. I feel the opposite. If I can't take them down, why not keep them lit, and extend the Christmas season a little bit. I was a little sad when I went out last night around 7 to see most of my neighbors had stopped lighting their outside lights, but I had mine on and so did a few others. And I'll keep mine on until I can get out there and take them down. So what about you? Do you feel like my neighbors do, keep them turned off, Christmas is over, or do you feel like I do, leave them on as long as you can? Let me know what you think!
