Yesterday we told you that Barbra Streisand's version of A Star is Born was coming to Netflix with unseen footage. I can't wait for that. Now comes word that Barbra has seen the Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper version of the same movie and she had good things to say about it. “What I saw of it was very good,” Streisand said. “It’s just it feels reminiscent of mine, but they added some new things which I liked, too. … I’m sure it’ll work.” This is the fourth version of A Star is Born with the first being made in 1937, then again in '54, than Barbra's version in 1976 and now the Gaga version. About that Barbra said, “The story works. It’s Romeo and Juliet — everyone knows the ending, but they like watching how we get there.”
I'm all in for both the Barbra and Gaga versions, what about you?
