Today's social dilemma came about because of a word I happened to say yesterday. It got a strong reaction from several people at the doctors office. I was at the doctors office after a pretty bad fall into a moat of water....truly. Anyway, then I came into work and asked Tracy what she thought about it and she felt the same way. The word was "moist." I don't get why it's an icky word. I asked everyone to explain it to me, but they couldn't put it into words. Tracy said it's just gross. Okay, I think it's just a regular old word and it doesn't bother me at all. At the doc's office I said my hair was still damp and moist from falling into the water. Bad reaction. I think it's just a way to describe something. So I thought I would ask you on this Friday morning. Does the word "moist" bother you? Do you find it icky? Let me know on the 98-3 TRY Facebook page.
