I can't lie. My heart is a little bit broken. I consider myself to be a "Toys R Us Kid" and now there will be no more Toys R Us. We always loved walking around Toys R Us seeing what all the new stuff was, and picking out what we wanted or what my nieces and nephews wanted. It always brought a smile to all our faces. I was in the Toys R Us on Wolf Road yesterday, and pretty much everything is gone with the exception of a few clothes and some power rangers toys. I did find a My Little Pony that I could get at 70% off, and yes, I did buy a big BB8 playset for myself (go ahead and mock, I don't care.) Toys R Us brought a lot of joy to a lot of kids over the years, and quite frankly to a lot of adults too. In my heart, I'll always be a Toys R Us kid. So thank you Geoffrey, you've been a good friend! Hope you enjoy your retirement, and know there will always be Toys R Us kids, even if there isn't the store to go along with it. We'll miss you!
