Cher fans, like myself, have a lot to look forward to in the fall. The singer revealed on Twitter that she’ll be releasing a new album in September. The album will be Cher’s first since 2013’s “Closer To The Truth,” which featured the hit song “Woman’s World.” Next up for Cher, she stars in the new movie “Mamma Mia 2,” which opens July 20th.
Meanwhile, Sheryl Crow is set to release her 11th album next year, and it will be her last. “I’ve got this record in the can and it’s going to come out next year,” Sheryl tells tells Consequence of Sound’s Kyle Meredith that. “It’s a very collaborative record. People who have asked to collaborate with me, people I’ve loved and I’ve worked with, some heroes of mine for ever.” Some of those people, according to Sheryl, include Stevie Nicks, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Keith Richards. She adds, “I really love the record so much, and at the same time I think, ‘How would I follow that up with an album?’”
We've got some good music to look forward to!!
