Wow, this is pretty interesting stuff for those of us who grew up loving David Cassidy. Who knew his final resting place would be in our own backyard? TMZ is reporting that David’s ashes are currently in storage, but that's because his family is just waiting to spread his ashes sometime this summer. David, as we all know, loved horse racing, and so the family plans to spread his ashes at the Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, which was David’s final wish. Although right now there’s no word on exactly when the ashes will be spread, Saratoga is set to host a “David Cassidy Memorial Race” on August 18th, so it’s a good bet may happen then. We just want you to rest in peace David, and if that's where you will, then so be it as long as it's okay with all involved in the Track. Godspeed old friend.
