Today's social dilemma came about because of the new baby that we adopted yesterday. We like to give our pets human names. We have Leo, our dog, and Jackson our kitty, and now our new addition to the family is named Sammy. Well, it's Sam, but he's a baby so we have to call him Sammy. We just like giving them human names. They're part of the family so it feels right. Also, I end up giving them middle names too, for instance, Jackson is Jackson Henri. However, we had several friends over the past week or so tell us it was a little weird that we give them human names and we should name Sammy a "cat name." His original name was Jet, which is adorable, but it would sound too much like Jack. So Sammy it is. So I thought I'd ask you Do you think it's strange to give your pets human names, or do you stick to dog names like Digby or Soxie (dogs we had as kids) and "cat names" like Kimo and Smokey (cats we had as kids). Let me know what you think on the 98-3 TRY Facebook page.
