Today's Flashback from 1978-Boogie Oogie Oogie by Taste of Honey

A Taste of Honey formed in 1971 and featured two women playing guitar and singing.   They didn't get their breakout hit until 1978 with this song, Boogie Oogie Oogie.  It went to number one on the Billboard Pop Charts and the R&B Charts.   They followed it up with a ballad, a cover of Sukiyaki, which went to number three.  Unfortunately, after that, they didn't have any other hits and broke up in 1984.   Check out their biggest hit below, and get ready to dance!!
