Social Dilemma-Is It Okay To Mow Your Grass Into the Street?

Today's social dilemma came about because a bunch of us in the neighborhood were mowing our lawns yesterday, all trying to beat the rain we knew was coming today.   Anyway, when I mow the lawn, I try not to let any of the clippings go into the street, but I admit that sometimes they do.   However, I have another neighbor who really doesn't care about that and always blows his clippings out into the street.   Now it doesn't bother me, but yesterday there were several neighbors who were upset about the grass in the street.  They were even a little upset with me because I didn't care that it happened.  I figure the rain will come and wash it away.    Others said it was rude and it makes the neighborhood look messy.   I say no big deal.  So I told them I would bring it to the streets....that's you!   What do you think?  Is it okay to mow your lawn so the grass goes in the street, or should you make sure that doesn't happen?  Let me know on the 98-3 TRY Facebook page.
