Some interesting TV news to get to today, so let's jump into it.
First up, the producers of Modern Family are promising that a "significant" character will die in the first half of the season. They're not saying who, or even saying if it's going to be a main character, just that the character will be significant and that it will have an effect on three or four of the episodes. We'll have to wait and see. Modern Family begins it's tenth season on September 26th.
Secondly, if you were a fan of Designing Women back in the day, then there is some very good news. ABC is producing a sequel to the show that centered around the Sugarbaker Design Firm. It will be run by the second generation of Sugarbakers and yes there is a chance that one or two of the original stars could make appearances
Thirdly, NBC has announced that the January season of The Voice will have a new coach, and it's going to be John Legend! Now the season that starts this month has Adam, Blake, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson. The season in January will replace Jennifer with John Legend. I'm all in for both seasons!
And lastly, don't forget, the Emmy Awards honoring all of TV will air this Sunday night. We'll talk about all about it on Monday morning!!
