Today's social dilemma is about something that happens to just about all of us during the holiday season. Have you ever been in this situation? You get together with an acquaintance or a friend you haven't seen in a long time sometime in December or early January. The thought of a Christmas gift for that person doesn't even cross your mind because you know you and your buddies have a "no gift" rule for this time of the year. And then that person pulls out a gift for you. What do you do? I have learned the hard way to always have what I call the "What If Gift" A What If Gift is usually a candle, or a mug with hot cocoa in it, or a pair of those snuggly sucks that you wear at home when you're just relaxing. Those are my What If Gifts. You know, like "what if someone gives you a gift and you dont' have anything in return for them." Now I always do. SNL even did a bit about it last year (which you can see below). So, I don't think I'm the only one who practicing the "what if gift" Let me know if you do this too. Tell me at the TRY Facebook page.
