Lindsey's Country Store In Clifton Park is Closing It's Doors For Good!

After thirty years of business, Lindsey’s Country Store & Sweet Shoppe will be closing following the holiday season.  Lindsey’s Country Store and Sweet Shoppe began as a seasonal apple stand on the side of the road on Route 9 in Clifton Park/Halfmoon. The store opened its doors on October 6, 1988 to provide fruit and baked goods to the community. Throughout the years, additions were made including a candy store that opened July 2015.  The owner, Diane Lindsey Curwick, has decided to retire to spend more quality time with family and friends.   The store will remain open thru December 24 and then reopen Thursday, December 27 with an anticipated closing date of January 9. Lindsey’s Country Store and Sweet Shoppe is located at 1537 Route 9 in Clifton Park/Halfmoon.  I'm so sad to see Lindsey's say goodbye.  I understand Diane's desire to retire, and she more than deserves that, but as someone who loves Lindsey's pies, muffins and Sweet Shoppe, it will be hard to know that I can't just drive by and get a wonderful treat.    I'll miss Lindsey's Country Store but we send off Diane with love and gratitude for 30 years of wonderful treats for the Capital Region!   Share your goodbyes to Lindsey's on the TRY Facebook page.

Diane, owner of Lindsey's Country Store
