Have you seen the new Gillette ad? It's been watched over two million times since yesterday morning. Some people love it, thinking the message is important and one that's been a long time coming. Others are upset because they think that Gillette is putting all men in the same category. I don't see it that way. I think it's a good ad, asking men to be the best they can be, and that means by not having to bully or put down others, in any way. It's a good message. No one is saying masculinity is wrong, they're saying toxic masculinity is wrong. I love a strong man, but a strong man doesn't use his strength to bully others or put down women. That's what I think of when I say strong man. My dad was a Navy man, strong, masculine and also one of the gentlest people I've ever known. I like the ad. I think my dad would have too. What do you think about it? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
