Hard to believe it's been 29 years since the Knickerbocker Arena first opened it's doors. On January 30th, 1990, Frank Sinatra played to a sold out crowd at the then Knickerbocker Arena. While the reviews of his performance were mixed, everyone in that building was thrilled to be at the show. Though Frank may have been past his prime, he still had whatever that intangible is that made him the superstar he was. My mother was at that show and was in her late 50's. She might as well have been 14 though because seeing Frank Sinatra turned her into a teenybopper again. Do you remember that show? Were you there? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
