Saratoga Flat Track Gets Longer Season but With Two Dark Days A Week

As an animal lover, I'm not a big racing fan, but I did think it was worth noting that the track season is changing this year (if it all gets approved). Apparently the season will open on July 11th, which is one week earlier than usual, making it a seven week season instead of a six week season. However, the number of racing days will actually stay the same because now there will be two dark days every week, both Monday and Tuesday. In the past, Tuesday has been the only dark day. If you are a racing fan, does this change anything for you? Are you glad that the season will be longer? Are you upset with two dark days a week? Let me know what you think on the TRY Facebook page.
